The current global economic crisis is having an impact across Europe, in a variety of forms and contexts. It is clear that cities and local governments are on the front line of the crisis, in terms of its impact on people, businesses and places. From sheer necessity, cities have also already started to explore a wide range of responses.
The economic crisis has dramatically altered the context in which URBACT projects are operating. URBACT is organising a multifaceted response to the crisis.
