Summary Thematic expertise:

In my current job as a Cordinator of Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement I have thematic expertise on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement. Using Public Procurement as a strategic tool the Urban authorities can solve different problems cities are dealing with: social, economic, environmental. As a Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement Partnership we worked on 7 actions / papers: - Building Procurement Strategy - Measuring Spend - Circular Procurement - Legal issues of Innovation Procurement - Local collaboration centres -Innovation Procurement Brokerage - Future Funding In the early stage I organised interactive sessions about dissemination strategy of the outputs of the Partnership (digital strategy, visualisation, canals of dissemination, how to use the network of the partners and about how to keep the outputs actual and up-to-date even after the Partnership not exist any more.

Expertise support to local authorities and other stakeholders in designing & delivering integrated and participatory policies

E.1. Knowledge on participatory methods and tools for co-production and implementation of local polices :

In my role as manager I was involved in the implementation of the local policies in social domain and in my role as coordinator of the Urban Agenda Partnership I was involved in the implementation of the local policies in public procurement.

E.2. Knowledge on integrated approach for the design, delivering, monitoring and evaluation of urban strategies/policies:

As a Urban Agenda Partnership we worked on Measuring spend tool in order to monitor the impact of spend of the Urban authorities. In my role as coordinator I was involved in the developement of the Measuring spend tool. In my role as quality manager I developed a monitoring tool in order to monitor budgeting versus financing of the specific difficult to predict budgets.

E.3. Awareness of the main policy and funding schemes for sustainable urban development at EU and national level:

In my current job as coordinator of the Urban Agenda Partnership I stay up to date about sustainable urban development policies, trends and funds at EU and national level by reading newsletters of European knowledge expert organisations like ICLEI, Procura+, Pianoo (national expert organisation), by reading EU publications on internet, by participating in conferences and seminars.

E.4. Ability to understand specific local situations and adapt tools and content to different local realities:

We are currently working on adaptation of the Measuring spend tool to different local realities - different European cities. For example the formulas in this Excel based tool have to be changed depending on language.
