B.1. Understanding of integrated and sustainable urban development:
More than 20 years working within BP Oil, with several missions in UK, Brussels and Med Region countries, as Program Director and Relationship Manager, for Digital Business and Communication. As Head of Communication of BP Portugal, I was responsible for the implementation of Social Responsibility and Sustainability strategy within Associate, and the country leader for the cities mobility program, sponsored by Lisbon Municipality.
As a partner of various international organizations such as CSR Europe and Vice-President of GRACE (National business organization, focusing on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability) I have been directly involved over the last 10 years in the implementation of strategic plans, projects and events, with impact on the local economic development and social inclusion.
B.2. Understanding of exchange and learning processes at transnational level:
The background knowledge was developed through individual research, project managing and the participation in local, national and European events through the cooperation and exchange with other experts in Portugal, and several countries in Europe. The related areas are:

• CSR strategy and policies for public and private sectors

• Sustainable Development and Global Goals (agenda 2030) for Businesses

Strong capacity to communicate in English language oral and written due to several appointments and team leading in several English speakers countries, during a period of 8 years. Invited professor in several Erasmus University program.

Luís Roberto has held executive positions at BP Portugal, over 20 years, in different areas and countries, having been responsible for strategic business transformation programs in the UK and Med-Region businesses. He was in recent years Head of Communication and Institutional Relationship and responsible for the policies of Social Responsibility and Sustainability of the multinacional.
Luis Roberto is currently Vice-President of GRACE - Group for Reflection and Support to Corporate Citizenship, Member of CSR Europe (Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility) member of the People's Advisory Council @ 2020, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the BP Foundation, lecturer at ISCSP-Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences, co -author of the book “Social Responsibility - A Corporate Strategy”, guest speaker and partner of Communication Consultant Company, Comunicatorium.
