Result of Small Scale Actions - what SIBdev partners have been up to?

14 July 2022The small scale actions are URBACT projects' experimenting tools so as to serve as tests for the Intergrated Action Plans' content. In SIBdev all project partners use to opportunity to carry out concrete actions, co-created with the Urban Local Groups - and they all prepared videos on them as well. Let's discover them one by one: starting with the city of Pordenone in Italy.
The small scale action of Pordenone city is the launch of a „house of activities” in one of the neighbourhood problematic for its isolation where popular settlements have been built, welcoming mainly citizens from third countries, called Vallenoncello. The project aims to enforce active aging through intergenerational exchange activities. A path that sees the elderly "wise men of the place" who pass on knowledge in a creative and interactive "Bottega" where young people, newcomers and not, can replenish and regenerate themselves with the contribution of the elderly through diverse activities.
