Report from visit to Mollet del Vallès!

On April 1-4 Sara Jervfors (Head of the Diet Unit in Södertälje) from the Lead Partner and Helena Nordlund, Lead Expert visited Mollet del Vallès for a bilateral meeting aiming at starting the Diet for a Green Planet practice transfer, elaborating a general work plan for the production of the Diet for a Green Planet Handbook and to take the first step in the Diet Policy transfer and planning of the international Diet Policy conference in September in Mollet del Vallès.
Here is a short summary of the process status and actions needed:
- Coordination and cooperation functions very well, no need for specific action.
- Local Support Group, LSG, not yet formed, but process is started. Needs a follow up before inviting the Mollet people to the Södertälje conference.
- The Diet for a Green Planet transfer process has positively started. Needs to continue according to project plan at Södertälje Conference in May and during lead expert’s follow up visits in the autumn.
- Work plan Handbook is now established on a general level and agreed. Needs follow up according to project plan with personal contacts local coordinator and lead expert. Principally to assure that the involved authors have understood the concept.
- Diet policy transfer and planning Diet Policy conference in Mollet is started in a good dialogue. Lead partner coordinator have to follow up that list of suggested people to involve will be sent from local partner. Södertälje politicians also soon have to be invited to participate in September conference. Needs to be coordinated with those who are invited to participate.
