Provision of Studies for URBACT on Transnational Cooperation and Sustainable Urban Development

The principle of a new generation of the URBACT Programme (URBACT III) has been stated at the end of last year. The new programming period will run from 2014 to 2020. Studies have to be carried out in the perspective of the new programming period.

The successful bidder(s) will be requested to conduct two separate studies on Transnational Cooperation and Sustainable and integrated urban development in the frame of the URBACT II programme. The studies' purpose is to provide the Managing Authority, the Member States, the European Commission and the URBACT Secretariat with new ideas on the topics below in the perspective of the new programming period.

The purpose of this contract is the conduct of two distinct studies in the field of urban policy and practices for the European programme URBACT II.

  • Study 1: Learning through transnational cooperation – Methods, results and indicators
  • Study 2: Implementing new concepts and tools for sustainable urban development 2014-2020
