PREVENT: Tallinn invents ways to involve parents

With PREVENT, City of Tallinn worked very closely with several schools quite motivated in increasing the place of parents to find solutions in the interest of their children.
The teachers know the parents, perhaps even the grand parents. If any problem appears, they can tackle it individually or all together. Parents express themselves also very clearly. “While changing myself I can help and support my children and my relatives, neighbours and perhaps even more people” says one , “ I learnt how to raise my children” adds an other. But city of Tallinn has also more global initiatives such as the “Family day” with a concrete participation of parents for the organization.
