How 97 European cities show the way to other cities with their good practices

Policymakers from more than 170 cities and 29 countries across Europe are in Tallinn to discover the most successful practices in a variety of urban fields, awarded the URBACT Good Practice label.

Journalists are invited to an opening press conference.

Paris, 26/09/2017

What: More than 450 policymakers and city practitioners from the EU, Switzerland and Norway – including mayors and elected representatives – will be in Tallinn 3-5 October for the URBACT City Festival. Showcasing 97 good practices addressing a comprehensive range of policy challenges commonly faced by cities, the Festival fosters exchange and learning among peers to get inspiration to improve how their city is run.

When: Tuesday 3 October at 6pm CET, an opening press conference will be held; followed by an Award Ceremony with the Mayor of Tallinn and the 97 Good Practice cities. The conference programme can be found here

  • Mr Gennadi GRAMBERG, Head of Division, ‘Tallinn Spring Clean Up campaign’ – Good Practice award winner

Journalists will have the possibility to interview speakers and Good Practice city representatives after the press conference. Interview requests should be made by email during registration.
