B.1. Understanding of integrated and sustainable urban development:
Economic educational background - Bachelor in Economics (1997) and PhD in Economics (2003) at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. Having a sound knowledge of ‘sustainability’, ‘socio - economic sustainable development’, ‘human development’, ‘social economy’, ‘resource - efficiency’, ‘circular economy’ concepts and also other related concepts to sustainable urban development. Assoc. Prof. PhD in Economics working with different higher education institutions in Romania, delivering Micro and Macro Economics & Business courses which covered transversely the general topic of sustainable development. Senior Expert (consultant / trainer / researcher) in many interdisciplinary projects financed ESF and Erasmus+, which covered important themes for sustainable urban development, such us entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, social enterprises, social inclusion, local development, integrated local development strategies, community development. Understanding the interdisciplinary approach of the social, economic and environmental processes of sustainable development in general and consequently of the sustainable urban development in particular.
B.2. Understanding of exchange and learning processes at transnational level:
Involved in exchange and learning activities in many projects which targeted identification, analysis and transfer of knowledge and practice from one country to another EU county in different fields: higher education (staff - exchanges in Leonardo da Vinci projects), scientific research (seminars and workshops under cooperation projects - COST - ESF), social entrepreneurship, financial inclusion (identification and analysis of best practices and case studies, study visits under ESF projects and Erasmus+ projects). Having a sound knowledge of the integrated approach of the stages of the learning process at transnational level and its overall coherence from preparation, effective implementation to follow -up (documentation and monitoring).

English proficiency - being able to speak and perform in English language. Communicated fluently in English oral and written in many international projects, delivered presentations in English at different international seminars and conferences, delivered training in English, delivered academic courses in English, elaborated research papers, reports, chapters in books in English, communicated in English in Expert Groups and in international teams.

Prof. PhD in Economics, involved in many social economy projects as trainer, consultant and researcher, which covered social economy, social enterprises and work integration social enterprises, social and financial inclusion of low income people from poor regions, financially excluded, Roma population, NEETs etc. In 2011 - Certificate of completion of the training of trainers programme in management of social enterprises at European Research Institute on Cooperatives and Social Enterprises, Trento, Italy. Involved in producing thematic inputs to feed in the learning process: presentations for national and international workshops and seminars, papers for international conferences, reports, training manuals, handbooks etc which incorporated learning from exchange in projects financed ESF and Erasmus+. Produced outputs further used for policy design and awareness raising in social economy field in Romania. Involvement at European level - in 2012 – 2014: member in GECES Group – European Commission Expert Group on Social Business; in 2013 - 2014 member in GECES sub-group on social impact measurement.
