Demands of growing cities

Similar to other European countries, the discussion in Germany is currently focused on social changes which are going to result from the general demographic changes the country is facing. Bielefeld wants to face up to these changes and will therefore – within BAPTS – analyse consequences for the mobility behaviour of specific target groups arising from changing demands of very quickly growing cities. Bielefeld will develop proposals for a technical and operational adjustment. The results emerging from City Mobil Net project may thus already be included in the planning and purchasing process for new vehicle.
