The Paris UN climate conference that is taking place these days aims to deliver a new universal climate change agreement that should keep the earth livable for the next generations to come.
In order to reach such an agreement, the commitment of local organisations and governments, among them cities, is essential. For this reason, URBACT will bring its contribution to the event.
Deputy Mayor of Lyon, Mrs Dounia Besson involved in the URBACT Sustainable Food network, will present in French the work the city has done in the framework of URBACT, actions implemented and results. Her contribution will be part of the COP21 activities organised by the Féderation Nationale des Agences d'Urbanisme (FNAU) on Saturday 5 December from 19.00 to 19.30 in the Grand Palais (Paris).
