UNIC has been given the Fast Track label by the European Commission and is a Thematic Network gathering 9 European cities with long and vivid histories in the ceramics industry and manufacturing. Leaded by the City of Limoges and composed of Aveiro (PT), Pécs (HU), Delft (NL), Stoke-on-Trent (UK), Cluj Napoca (RM), Faenza (IT), Castellon (SP) and Sevilla Global (SP), UNIC intend to exchange experiences and good practices in order to promote the traditional know-how and to encourage ceramics industries to move effectively towards an innovative economy linking research and education, economy, culture, social and urban promotion. Workshops, Plenary sessions, Round table on the Ceramics industry in Europe and Technical visit of the European Ceramics Centre site are all on the programme throughout the three-day seminar.
