URBACT annual Conference : Let's meet in Montpellier on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December 2008!

09 October 2017The URBACT annual Conference and the Cities Forum will take place on 1st, 2nd and 3rd December 2008 at the CORUM in Montpellier , in the south of France.
"The URBACT annual conference is a time of interactive and educational exchange, plenary sessions and workshops bringing together all the URBACT players and all members of the public interested in its conclusions (urban practitioners, members of parliament, local councilors, researchers, academics, consultancy firms, etc). The URBACT annual Conference will start on Sunday 30th November with a Welcome dinner for all participants. It will end on Tuesday 2nd December after field visits in the Montpellier area. Please note that the Conference will take place a few days after the URBACT II Monitoring Committee meeting during which the second implementation phase will have been launched. The Cities Forum will take place from the Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday 3rd December. Within the framework of the French Presidency of the European Union, the Ministry for Housing and Urban Affairs is organizing this event, with the objective of bringing together several hundred European players in urban policy elected members and experts for a debate on the city we are aiming to create today and the tools available for this project. - Initially, the URBACT annual Conference and the Cities Forum was planned to take place on 26th, 27th and 28th November 2008. It has been postponed to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd December 2008 for logistical reasons.
