URBACT Pilot Projects for the Transfer of Good Practice

09 February 2015The URBACT programme is willing to further explore tools and methods for the transfer of good practice in the field of integrated sustainable urban development. In this perspective, URBACT will shortly open a call for proposals to create up to 4 small scale pilot networks.
Objectives
- To support the validation of good practices through the transfer (re-use) by cities in the framework of a transnational exchange and learning project.
- To identify the key elements of success for the transfer of the selected practices.
- To explore how transnational cooperation can support the identification, validation, dissemination and active in-take of good practices in the field of integrated sustainable urban development (with a focus on the EU2020 objectives).
Target beneficiaries will be all European citiesPartnerships will be composed of 3 to 5 cities including the Lead partner city, coming together to transfer a practice that has been successfully implemented in one of the partner cities. 1 partner minimum shall be from a Convergence region.
Timeframe will be 16 months (starting December 2013, completing by April 2015).
