Did you know that you could identify and locate projects and the cities working together?
The answer is yes: It is possible to visualize all URBACT II projects on our online website interactive project map!

The projects are the core of the URBACT Programme. The URBACT Projects focus on key urban issues and try to develop effective and sustainable solutions to key urban challenges. They enable cities and other public authorities to meet and exchange experiences, identify and transfer good practices, build new local policies, draw lessons and recommendations to disseminate to urban policy-makers and practitioners. While operating at local level, URBACT Projects are also working at programme level, within three Thematic Poles. Within this framework, they to contribute to sub-thematic clusters (themes) in order to share their results and build up practical knowledge on issues that cut-across several projects.

With this map, you can geographically see all these various aspects: closed and ongoing projects, lead partners and partners of each project, the projects involved in the 9 themes, but also get a grasp of the extent of the URBACT network. Indeed, with URBACT II you are talking about 300 cities, 29 countries and 5,000 active participants!

Hope you enjoy the tour!
