Managing Authority for the ERDF Operational Programme 2007-2013

The urban mainstreaming covers Axe V of the Regional ERDF Operational Programme, which includes, besides traditional grants, the otpion JESSICA for the implement of the forseen operations.
Axe V can finance only projects included in Urban Integrated Plans for Sustainable Development (PIUSS).
As to support the implementation of a greater number of projects, it is necessary to replace grants by revolving financial mechanisms, as JESSICA seems to be.
Therefore it is necessary to undestand the JESSICA finacial engeneering instrument and its added value for local actors as well as for private investors.
