FIN-URB-ACT at the URBACT Annual Conference 2008

The URBACT Annual Conference was held in Montpellier from 20th November to 2nd December 2008. The FIN-URB-ACT network and objectives were presented during the workshop session.
The Annual Conference in Montpellier offered for more than 250 European Cities, universities, local authorities and active partner in the URBACT network to meet together, to share their interests, to discuss their projects and expected outputs. The first day opened with a plenary session followed by simultaneous workshops. On the second day, some trips on urban issues around the City of Monpellier where oganised. Afterwards, a city forum took place under the guidance of the French Presidency of the European Union.
The FIN-URB-ACT project was represented by the thematic coordinator, Mr. Christian Huttenloher, from the German Association four Housing Urban and Spatial Development.
