Our municipality works towards the future ! Financing Programs like URBACT give us the chance to participate, design and implement new ideas in the benefit of the community. The experience gained is valuable and just waiting to extend it.

The geographic position with borders both with Republic of Moldova and Ukraine give us the chance to develop pojects in participation with local comunities from this countries. For the moment we just mention them :RO-UA Partnership for Climate Change Mitigation – (Our town is one of the latest signatory of the Paris Convention, and also of the Convenant of Mayors). This project enables our community to monitorise the Action Plan for a good safe environment and the effective use of the sustainable energy .

Back to our common roots in partnership with Ivano Frankivsk Municipality, designated especially for people who wants to know more about the history of our towns. It will present a new concept of Multimedia museum unique in our transnational Region

Eminescu- One Culture, One Route in Botosani-Balti Cross-Border Area (Mihai Eminescu- our National Poet born in Botoșani is a wonderful pretext of presenting a common cultural heritage and developing the touristic infrastructure. This will enhance the attractivity of both towns among the visitors in the area). Detailed presentantions are to come in our next October article.
