URBACT is recruiting a new Programme Director

This is a strategic position, ensuring the current URBACT III programme is implemented successfully while driving the orientation and set-up of the new URBACT IV programme (2021-27).

The responsibility of the Programme Director covers the technical implementation of the Programme, the relations with the Managing Authority – the French National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT), the relations with the Member States and Partner States, the relations with the European Commission on behalf of the Managing Authority and/or the Member States/third countries, the Human Resource Management of the Joint Secretariat, the contacts with other Programmes and Initiatives.

They cover the current programme URBACT III and the future programme URBACT IV.

If you have an interest in sustainable urban development and have demonstrable experience in programme and financial management, managing teams and EU projects, and are fluent in English and French, have a look at the vacancy notice here.
