Stay Tuned has come to an end
Edited on
28 June 2019In the past three years, nine European cities, namely Ampelokipi-Menemini (GR), Aveiro (PT), Barcelona (ES), Berlin (DE), Ghent (BE), Gothenburg (SE), Nantes (FR), Sofia (BG) and Tallinn (EE), have been exchanging ideas and expertise on tackling Early leaving from education and training (ELET). Now, Stay Tuned has come to an end.
At the final conference on the 22th of May, the partners presented the projects they launched, the challenges they faced and the outcomes. The conference was an opportunity itself to exchange and discuss the diverse approaches with attendees, since many European cities face common challenges (f.e. reaching out to vulnerable groups and early intervention in the dropout process).
Now, on a new website, we compiled the solution stories (including challenges and taken measures) and videos of the partners, the common implementation and policy themes and contact information. This Stay Tuned section, with the articles, on the URBACT site will stay online, but will not be further updated.
We hope our findings will inspire policy makers and educators to recognise the diverse relevant factors and stakeholders and find ways to keep young people engaged in education or training.
