B.1. Understanding of integrated and sustainable urban development:
I have been working with development processes in different positions since 1996. I have been the CDO/head of development for school and children in the big municipality of Gentofte(2012-2014) near Copenhagen. Gentofte is famous for - at least in Denmark - the creation of sustainable urban development by involving all stakeholders in the development process; the political process is to involve and the decisions are made by all involved. For instance we had a focus on the possibilities for the 16-19 year olds in the municipality. The politicians, administrators (me and my staff), a group of the young ones, teachers from different school types, sports organizations sat together and created realistic ideas and actions. The 16-19 year olds felt involved, that that they were taken seriously and a part of the local democracy.
I have also been a part of another project as a consultant (from 2015) in Norway, Nettverk Normøre, where five municipalities work together to create common pictures of the future in order to have a common understanding of the ways to reach the described future. All stakeholders were involved in the process; children, parents, schools, politicians, youngsters, elder, local companies. The process is still ongoing, but so far the results are impressive; all are engaged and all feel responsibility of creating a sustainable urban development, so that they all can meet the future not with fear, but with optimism and open arms.
B.2. Understanding of exchange and learning processes at transnational level:
I am the leader of a 4 year-project involving 5 municipalities from each Nordic country. My role is actually to construct the design of transnational exchange and learning activities. It consists of two parts: physical meetings and a digital component, meetings and platform. The physical meetings are one conference a year with a common theme, where the newest knowledge and research are presented. All municipalities are joining and are prepared to present their experiences referring to the theme to the other municipalities. It is arranged so that all municipalities get feed-back in depth from at least two foreign municipalities. Next step is "the market place", where all municipalities make a 10-minute presentation of the theme identifying the successes and things to be better at. Next step is "speed dating", where all municipalities have to find at least one other municipality, that they want to work closer together with and make a network. The network is working, sharing knowledge, good and bad experiences during the year till the conference the following year. They meet digitally or physically during the year depending on the needs.
Since the late nineties I have been working at a transnational level; I been with working with educational and learning exchanges between Denmark and Korea, Nepal, exile Tibet, Eritrea, Faroe Islands, Wales, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and I am a member of the founding group of ARC, a collaboration between 10 nations/systems
B.3. Proficiency in English:
What can I say. I read, write and speak English almost as much, as I read, write and speak Danish, my mother-tongue. I have been the key note speaker in English in front of 1600 people. I read articles and literature in English. I have been the co-writer/writer of several reports in English. I have presented an endless number of slides in English. I speak English nearly on a daily basis - in communication with my international colleges. Sometimes I even dream in English.

I am a experienced project leader, that knows how to design, facilitate and organize settings, in which exchanges and sharing of knowledge at transnational level are working. I know how to use different learning tools, digital as well as analogue to create exchange and learning processes for all participants at transnational level. I have strong leadership abilities and I am experienced in handling complex and even conflictual situations. I am good at creating trust around my person. I speak several languages and I am good at communicating with all kinds of participants. I am used to synthesize many inputs and used to write reports, that capture the essential learning in a transnational project.

I am familiar and experienced with processes that includes the target group both from projects in Denmark, Norway and transnational projects in the Nordic countries. The general experience from these projects is, that including the target group creates sustainable development. I know how to feed a process with thematic inputs, so that the process is kept dynamic and alive. I am experienced in designing and writing reports, that incorporate the learning from the transnational exchanges and learning activities and identify good practice. I am capable of designing and conducting different approaches, that maximize the use of project results and findings.
