The idea is to work in complex urban and coastal contexts (with high levels of urbanization and loss of nature, that present widespread issues related to environment, landscape, traffic, use of soils and that are composed of more urban entities) to carry studies and to test design solutions capable of preventing and managing the various types of risk present in the territories concerned (hydrological, geological, erosive, environmental, climatic, from sources of pollution etc ...) and using these transformations to create parts of urban systems and infrastructures useful for the qualitative, environmental and social regeneration of cities.

We represent a local authorities association located in Italy (Abruzzo Region - Cities of: Martinsicuro, Alba Adriatica, Tortoreto, Giulianova, Roseto degli Abruzzi, Pineto, Silvi - 128.000 inhabitants - transition region according EU cohesion policy).
The association is looking for linear coastal cities (with a priority for those from less developed regions) facing problems/challenges about risk management in a urban complex coastal system (idrogeological, soil sealing, land use, etc ...)
