Renovation of important buildings next to a large and significant cultural and historical object for economic and tourism development

There are a very large number of tourists every year in Rundale, up to 250,000 who visit Rundale Castle. Despite the impressive number of visitors, this resource has not been fully exploited. The current offer of tourism services in Rundāle region by the entrepreneurs (catering, overnight stay, activities, entertainment, etc.) does not correspond to the rapidly growing tourism flow. As a result, most visitors stay in the county for no more than one day. And not just because there are areas of business that are lacking in the county, but also one of the reasons that visitors have no place to access information in one place. Similarly, the offer of household products available in the county is in one place, thus improving the local economy and supporting local domestic producers. The reason is the lack of infrastructure or its insufficient quality. In our case, there are three buildings owned by the municipality, which are of poor quality - abandoned. They need to be restored. There is a need to set up a tourist information center and premises for business.
