A Partner Search Tool to help match cities
Edited on
20 February 2019In the frame of the open call for Action Planning networks (7 January-17 April 2019), URBACT has developed an online database to assist cities in their search for partners.
- Are you a city with an idea:
- willing to lead a network and is looking for Project Partners?
- willing to join a network and is looking for a Lead Partner?
- looking for a Lead Expert?
Then submit your idea (indicating a one liner on the policy challenge you wish to tackle, your topics of interest, the main policy issue to be addressed, previous involvement in an URBACT network and any other useful information) and fill in your contact details on the Partner Search Tool.
You will be notified via email as soon as your project idea is published!
When logged into the website, you can make amendments to your project idea (e.g. specifying what kind of partners you are looking for and announce if your partnership is complete.
Potential partners can send you their expression of interest via the platform.
- Are you looking to join a network?
Then browse the list of ideas which are ordered by last published/last modified but can be sorted out by alphabetical order when clicking on the titles in the table.
You can also use the different filters (type of region, country, or topic) or search by keyword.
See a project idea you are interested in? Then access its dedicated page and get in touch with the city by filling in the form and answering 3 questions (Why are you interested in this project idea in particular? How does the policy issue addressed by the project idea fit with your city's agenda/strategy? Are you committed to any other project in the frame of this call?).
- Are you an expert in urban development?
Then have a look at the project ideas and identify those for which you could be a suitable expert.
Previous experience shows that the creation of partnerships takes place from the very beginning of the call. We know that having a good mix of partners is key in getting your Action Planning network proposal right and the Partner Search Tool is here to help you!
