B.1. Understanding of integrated and sustainable urban development:
Graduated as Environmental Scientist with expertise on natural resources management and sustainable development from the University of Ioannina, Greece. Holding also a PhD on waste management and circular economy from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc on Environmental Economics, sustainability and environmental corporate responsibility from the University of Leeds, UK.
Worked as a Research Fellow in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Project Manager in ANATOLIKI S.A. Development Agency coordinating EU projects (Interreg, LIFE, MED, Adrion, ACP) on circular economy, resilience, urban sustainable development, climate change and energy efficiency. Involved in education as a Certified Training Instructor on secondary education level teaching the modules of environment and sustainable development. Moreover, worked as a certified trainer in vocational training institutes and as a lecturer assistant in higher education. Designer of awareness raising campaigns on waste recycling issue. Currently, I worked also as a consultant for local authorities to adopt integrated solutions achieving resilience and sustainability. Finally, having volunteer experience after participating in educational programmes for citizens under local authorities auspices as keynote speaker in the waste management sector.
B.2. Understanding of exchange and learning processes at transnational level:
I have been involved in numerous transnational projects (Interreg, LIFE, MED, Adrion, ACP) as a progect manager and coordinator. During this projects' implementation I have organised several meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences and exchange programmes in which organisations, industry, academic institutions and local authorities have participated. As a communication manager in many of the transnational projects I have produced communication material including newsletters, press releases, handbooks and articles for international conferences.
Furthermore, I have supported the creation of a Postgraduate programme on waste management in developing countries. I have also involved in Climate-KIC programme participating in Climathon in Greece, where as a part of a team we proposed measures to promote sustainable development and tackle climate change through extended educational activities in school units.
B.3. Proficiency in English:
I speak and write fluently English. I have lived in the United Kingdom for over a year when studying for the Masters degree. Writing articles for Journals and presenting research articles in English in international Conferences. Being involved in numerous EU projects I communicate with partners and colleagues in English in a daily basis. I have also written reports, newsletters and press releases.

I am responsible for over 2 years for Technical and scientific support in implementing recycling and publicity projects in 10 Local Authorities in Thessaloniki Unity, Greece. Drafting technical reports on the recyclable waste collection network and equipment check (completeness, content quality and damage).

I am responsible for over 2 years for drafting technical report for the recording, mapping and optimisation of the municipal waste collection network at the municipalities of Kalamaria and Thermi, Greece

Being involved in numerous projects on sustainable development and circular economy for 11 years I keep up to date in a daily basis through knowledge and policy exchange through project meetings, seminars, meetings with local/regional and national authorities.

I am working with local authorities for over 11 years:
-Planning of a low-cost zero waste municipality: Formulation and operationalisation of strategic priorities for the municipality of Preveza, Greece.
- Development of the waste recycling networks in the municipality of Neapoli-Sykies, Greece.
Recording and monitoring waste recycling network, equipment check (completeness, content quality and damage) and draft technical reports.
