‘Local Approaches to supporting Youth Employment and Opportunity - What can be done from the Local Level? What can the EU do help?’
JobTown achievements were presented to a specialized institutional public in Brussels, along with a well-received set of related policy recommendations for the European Commission and Parliament, signed by representatives of the JobTown network.

Rennes’ delegation was accompanied by Maëlle Bourg, from the Commissioner General for Territorial Equality, or ‘CGET’ (Commissariat General a l'Egalité des Territoires), the URBACT Managing Authorities.
Originally booked to take place in Parliament, the event had to be moved at the last minute for security reasons, and was kindly hosted by the Emilia-Romagna region in their representation’s conference facilities. Cesena, JobTown’s Lead Partner, as a city in Emilia-Romagna, has developed strong cooperative partnership with the regional government throughout JobTown, and the Brussels representation has been an invaluable support since the outset of the project, also hosting a Brussels kickoff event in 2012 and supporting dissemination.
