27th September watch online the Policy Seminar about the value of diversity, equity and inclusion for new local economic development, by Alison Partridge.
What is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion? Why is this important? What are the benefits of a more diverse, equitable and inclusive local economy? What can cities do to support this? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the policy seminar.
This Policy Seminar will include moments of reflection of the cities that belong to the iPlace network and finish with a panel discussion with panelists from two cities from each extreme of Europe, one from eastern Europe and another from western Europe. During this panel discussion these panelists will be asked to reflect upon their cities' reality facing these themes and how they address them.
This policy seminar can be attended by anyone who wants to join by live streaming at iPlace’s facebook page.
The policy seminar takes place at 11h (CET) on the 27th of September and will be facilitated by Alison Partridge, a URBACT Expert who supports cities across the EU to develop inclusive digital economies.
