2nd iPlace online webinar happens at 10h CET of February 5, hosted by Medina del Campo, will gather different perspectives from the tourism sector to discuss sustainable Tourism in small cities. 

Sustainable Tourism webinar

Questions like “What are the challenges in the environment which will impact on tourism in small cities?”, “What are the changes small cities can make to their tourism services and products more sustainable?” and “What are good practices to successfully implement sustainable tourism strategies?” will guide this webinar, that joins different touristic stakeholders, from different countries, but facing similar challenges.

Alisa Aliti Vlasic, ULG coordinator of Dubrovnik in “Tourism friendly cities” URBACT network, will introduce the subject to the discussion that will join Valentina Mecacci – Tour Guide of "Le Orme" – Tour guides of Maremma Toscana (Grosseto), Aivar Ruukel, Manager of a Soomaa (Pärnu) and Alberto Lorente Saiz, Crea360, Founder of CREA360 (Medina del Campo).
This event is free and open to everyone who wants to attend. It will take place at 10h Central European Time (CET),  on the 5th of February, streamed live at Simón Ruiz CDE Facebook page, on the following Youtube channel and on iPlace Project social media.

 iPlace is a network of ten small cities from across Europe - Amarante (PT), Balbriggan (IE), Gabrovo (BG), Grosseto (IT), Heerlen (NL), Kočevje (SI), Medina del Campo (ES), Pärnu (EE), Pori (FI) and Saldus (LV) -, co-funded by the URBACT Programme, with the aim to find new niches for local economic development, in particular, to support their local entrepreneurial ecosystems.
