Following its first edition in Amsterdam, back in 2017, the International Social Housing Festival is traveling to Lyon in summer 2019.

The struggle for affordable housing presents a real challenge for the future of towns and cities, innovative responses are very necessary. This event will present an excellent opportunity to seek these and share the actions that will define the future. Making the link between the homes we inhabit, the cities we live in and the overall quality of life, the ISHF 2019 aims through a series of diverse events to highlight the importance of access to decent housing for all, to celebrate the long tradition of public, cooperative and social housing and its key role in addressing current and future housing challenges. Plan your own itinerary and join the international housing community in Lyon, a vibrant housing lab that is getting ready to welcome housing practitioners, tenants, architects, researchers and policymakers.

URBACT Programme Experts, Laura Colini and Ivan Tosics, will be speakers in different sessions:

     - Workshop Urban Regeneration through Social Housing

     - Conference This land is whose land?

     - Ceremony of the 3rd European Responsible Housing Awards

     - Night of the gonzo research on housing and urban management

     - Change the use to change the city

You are welcome to register for each session by clicking in the links above. More information about the festival is available here.
