Infoday to promote the new URBACT III Transfer Networks call

Throughout 2017, Urbact has worked to identify 97 examples of Good Practice in urban policy making across European cities. Congratulations to our Irish successes - Longford, Naas, and Monaghan.
Details of the 97 Good Practices can be found at: http://urbact.eu/good-practices/home. A Festival of Good Practices is being held in Tallin from October 3rd to the 5th. Urbact Ireland will also run an event on Nov 22nd in Dublin to introduce the Good Practices to Irish Local Authorities (details to follow in early October).
On September 15th 2017 URBACT announced a new Transfer Networks call. A select number of successful Good Practice cities will offer to share their practices in EU wide networks. Up to 25 Transfer Networks will be created. As it is likely that these networks will be created very quickly after the official call , the purpose of this infoday will be to provide you with an early understanding of the call and why it might interest you, and application procedures. The closing date for the call is yet to be confirmed.
Mr Colm Downey (Dept of Housing, Planning and Local Government) and Professor Mark Boyle (Maynooth University) will lead the event and a Q&A will be held after formal presentations. Tea and coffee will be available at Custom House from 1pm. The infoday will begin at 1.30pm and end at 3.00pm sharp
