The ROMA-NeT project has been recognised for its excellence by winning a prestigious national award.

On Thursday 13 March, Glasgow City Council won the Best Team award for Roma-NeT at the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) Excellence Awards, held in the historic town of St Andrews. These awards celebrate the best projects in local government that have been effectively delivered in an innovative and passionate way. The Roma-NeT project team was selected as the best in the country, beating over 200 other project submissions. The award was recognition of the partnership that Roma-NeT has established over the past 3 years and the success of the integrated, multi-agency approach it has adopted for Roma inclusion. The Chief Executive of Glasgow City Council, George Black who attended the ceremony said: “I’m immensely proud of the people who have worked so hard on this project. They are innovative and inspirational and it is great news they’ve been recognised as they have."
