IN FOCUS Final Conference. The role of cities in Smart Specialisation. Collaborative and multi-level governance for urban economic development
The IN FOCUS Final Conference will take place on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in Bilbao.
The conference will be the perfect framework to celebrate the final results of the project, and share the IN FOCUS good practices and added value to the whole community of practitioners in business-led economic development at city level in Europe.
Besides introducing the outcomes of the IN FOCUS project, the objective is to allow further networking and enhance the broader awareness on the potential of the smart specialisation concept for both boosting the urban agenda on business-led local economic development and the city-region articulation in RIS3.
The one-day conference will bring together stakeholders interested in smart specialisation multi-level governance approaches, and professionals working in the field of economic development planning, such as local and regional policy makers, business and development agencies, researchers, public and private organisations and representatives and members of civil society.
