First INTERREG IVB North West Europe annual event will take place on the 22nd and 23rd September 2008 in the Abbey of Neumünster in Luxembourg.

"Demographic change is making headlines: the immigration debate is raging across Europe, notions of nationality and citizenship are under scrutiny and ageing citizens are questioning the capacity of our labour markets and health systems. In a nutshell, you could define these as: Challenges for Changing Populations, the focus of the first INTERREG IVB North West Europe annual event.    During these two days we will explore the effects of demographic changes with speakers from the Economist, the European Parliament, the World Health Organisation and several eminent academics. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with the INTERREG IVB Joint Technical Secretariat to discuss project ideas and network with other project applicants. Registration is available online at: www.nweurope.eu/event2008.  The conference is free of charge, however you will have to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements. Read more"
