FIN-URB-ACT at the EUROPEAN Parlament SME Intergroup

17 September 2010On 15 September 2010, the SME Intergroup of the European Parlament organised a workshop with a small circle of stakeholder, including ESBG, in order to receive input for its plannes resolution on the future European instruments to support SME finance. THe FIN-URB-ACT project was presented by Ms. Fíona Joyce,Deputy director of ESBG.
Ms. Joyce state that the FIN-URB-ACT project was bringing up interesting best prcactice examples of how better connection between financial and non-financial services must be achieved in order to optimise conditions for SME access to finance.
The next meeting of ESBG high-level business cooperation task-force, which has been following progress on FIN-URB-ACT since the beginning of the project, will take place on 4 February 2011. A short report on the current status of FIN-URB-ACT will be presented at this meeting.
