During the transnational conference in Södertälje the first step of a stakeholder exchange program was taken, as kitchen staff and food experts from all partner cities got the opportunity to work in school kitchens in Södertälje during one day. Following up on this exchange, food experts from Södertälje then visited both Lomza and Mollet del Vallès to continue the exchanging of ideas and experiences.

The exchange program, which is very practically oriented, aims at increasing the competences of those chefs and food experts that are the practical implementers of the Diet for a Green Planet concept. The Södertälje experience shows that there must be knowledge of the concept on high political level, but also in the kitchens where the food is prepared, if the implementation is to be successful.

The exchange program also includes teachers and principals in an effort to start building relations between key persons at different levels in schools.
