Evaluation of the URBACT Programme implementation

16 December 2019The implementation evaluation of the URBACT III Programme was carried out in 2019 by an independent consultant, Regina Trenkler-Fraser.
URBACT is doing a good job bringing together a wide range of cities working with different urban topics. Find out more about the relevance, the efficiency and the effectiveness of the process and procedures that have been implemented in regards to:
- Management structures and design;
- Networking, Capacity Building and Capitalisation activities;
- Communication actions.
The role of URBACT to reinforce ties between local and European levels has been pointed out as a main highlight. Likewise, other successful aspects have been drawn from this evaluation, notably the high probability of achieving the programme's targets for the period of 2014 - 2020.
