Join us for a web conference series accompanying the renewal of the Leipzig Charter during the German EU Council Presidency.

As the COVID-19 pandemic turned most local development strategies upside down in a drastic way, 2020 still holds the opportunity to influence an important strategic course in the field of European urban development policy.

The German Association for Housing, Urban and Spatial Development and the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community invite you to take part in the web series “Europe’s Cities Fit for Future”, five online sessions spread over three days and answering the following questions:

  • What can the New Leipzig Charter and the EU cohesion policy contribute to resilient cities and regions fit for future?
  • What are the approaches of JUST, GREEN and PRODUCTIVE  front-runner cities and regions?

URBACT will be present, alongside some of the cities that have contributed to the City Lab series.
