ESPON Info Day on New Calls

The new ESPON Calls for Proposals and Expression of Interests will be presented during a day of information of potential beneficiaries to be held in Brussels on 16 September 2009. The European Commission and the Swedish EU Presidency will present the policy demand behind the need for further ESPON results.

The purpose of the event is two-fold:

  • to support the launch of the next Calls for Proposals and Expression of Interests including the new funding opportunities and the conditions for applying. 
  • to promote networking possibilities between potential project partners and to inspire new projects on the main topic proposed for the event.

The event is open for all interested participants interested in learning more about opportunities for taking part in ESPON project activities. It will in particular welcome a mix of policy makers, scientists, experts, representatives of universities  around Europe and national, regional and local authorities. The venue can host a maximum of 250 participants. Deadline for registration for the ESPON Info Day is 10 September 2009 at 15h00.
