Energie-Cités' Anniversary Rendezvous :"Inventing tomorrow: city life in transition"

21 June 2019The challenge of European cities is to invent today a tomorrow where quality of life goes hand in hand with low energy consumption. A thousand local authorities are already preparing their futures by committing to the Covenant of Mayors. In defiance of financial and economic pressures, they are changing the direction of their energy policies – with foresight, cooperation and imagination! Meet European cities with an appetite for change from 28-30 April 2010 in Salerno within the framework of the Energie-Cités' Anniversary Rendezvous.
Energie-Cités is the association of European local authorities promoting local sustainable energy policies.
To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, the association invites you to debate the following:
- Perceptions and indicators of quality of life
- Local energy policies ensuring a better quality of life
- Visions for a low energy city for 2020-2050
Participate in panel discussions as well as in interactive forums and pick from a bunch of ideas on desirable ways of planning, consuming and living in cities.
