EFUS Conference debate : "Cities facing collective violence"

Following their General Assemblies, the European Forum for Urban Safety (EFUS) organizes a large conference debate on June, 26th 2009 around "Cities facing collective violence".

EFUS is a European network of 300 local authorities established in 1987 in Barcelona, on the initiative of Gilbert Bonnemaison, former Mayor of Epinay-sur-Seine, and supported by the Council of Europe. This network aims to strengthen crime reduction policies and to promote the role of local authorities in national and European policies. Speakers will include Mayors and representatives from Stuttgart, Munich, Barcelona, The Metropolitan Police of London, European institutions and universities ... During the assemblies, field visits will be organized (including visits of the stadium, care centre for drug addicts, urban renovation project ...)
