We started positivist work – direct talks with all the owners of shops on Świdnicka Street in their premises.

Clerks went to entrepreneurs and residents, talked, encouraged and made them realise the necessity of deciding on common objectives. Every view, every opinion is important. There are first “swallows” of changes on Świdnicka Street. In late spring, the last shop of “all for 5 zł” type disappeared. As declared at the termination of the contract – due to lack of interest in the offer. Therefore, a customer on Świdnicka Street is changing and this change makes us very happy. This particular case inspired the owners of the premises to a grass-roots initiative: they hung posters on the empty premises stating that the residents of Wrocław will decide on the future tenant. This indicates a gradual change in the way entrepreneurs think; it is not just their own interest that is the most important, but broader thinking of individual premises as a part of public space.
