City Centre Doctor: from Place Analysis to Idea Generation

During the last months of the City Centre Doctor Project the ULGs of the 10 Municipalities involved in the process of revitalization of the city heart had been working hard to generate new ideas and solutions, starting from the opinion of citizens, local stakeholders and experts. A bottom up approach, facilitated by a strong knowledge transfer activated during the international meetings, helped ULgs members to produce a significant amount of innovation. Roundables with local stakeholders, idea-generation exercises, sheets of paper full of post-it and drawings, experimentation of new tools for making solution emerge as well as for increasing citizens participation into decision making process: all cities worked hard to find out innovative solutions to revitalize the city centres in a participated way and the results will be presented and discussed during the next meeting in Nort Sur Erdre (France) from the 3rd to the 6th of April 2017.
