This contract is for the ongoing evaluation of URBACT’s pilot training scheme for local officials in integrated and sustainable urban development.
The training on "integrated and sustainable urban policies" is reserved for the elected officials of cities currently participating in the nine URBACT networks that were selected in the second call for projects and are due to close in the first quarter of 2013. In approving this training project, the Monitoring Committee decided that it would be assessed continuously throughout its implementation.
The evaluation will assess the implementation of pilot training and overall performance in terms of relevance, effectiveness, impact and outcome. The final report of the assessment should include recommendations to improve any future training scheme addressing integrated and sustainable urban development. The evaluation should cover the main areas of activity of the pilot training scheme and examine its impact.
The deadline for receipt of bids is set for: Thursday, 12 April, 2012.
