The URBACT Programme is seeking external expert support in relation to its Transfer Network activity.

URBACT currently has 23 Transfer Networks in operation, with more than 160 participating city partners. Each network focuses on the adaptation and transfer of an UBACT Good Practice, with a Transferability Study examining this, analysing the partners’ respective starting points and explaining the network methodology.

Specifically, this will investigate the key lessons emerging from these networks and feed them into the planning process for the new programming period. The output from this work will also make proposals relating to the proposed European Urban Initiative (EUI) Innovative Actions Transfer Mechanism.

The assignment comprises three elements:

  1. Fieldwork and analysis of the Transfer Networks methodology and content
  2. Capturing and reporting the findings
  3. Proposals and recommendations
