Call for applications for 7 Experts for the URBACT II External Assessment Panel (EAP)

The ACSé-URBACT Secretariat is now setting up a pool of seven European experts from different nationalities to compose the External Assessment Panel in charge of assessing and scoring projects received within the frame of the URBACT II third call for proposals. The present call for applicants is opened from 16th December 2011 to 25th January 2012.
As set in the Programme manual, the External Assessment Panel shall proceed to a ranking of projects and shall submit proposals for the acceptance, rejection or modification of thematic network and working group proposals to the Monitoring Committee. Members of the E.A.P. will proceed to the assessment and scoring of projects. Each project will be assessed by 2 different assessors, allowing for a cross-analysis and co-scoring of each project. The organization and methodology for implementation of the assessment will be decided by the E.A.P. and its chair. Members of the E.A.P. will be requested to take part to briefing and debriefing meetings with the URBACT Secretariat in relation with the implementation of the assessment process.

The deadline for receipt of this application is
postponed to 25 January 2012 (instead of 16 January 2012) and the interviews with candidates are postponed to the first week of February. Applications shall include the European format CV and the signed covering letter.
