Bucharest 3rd district
The 3rd District of Bucharest (Sectorul 3 al Municipiului Bucuresti) is one of six districts of the Romanian capital, with a population of 471,137 people according to 2013 census, while in the Bucharest Ilfov Region were registered 2.04 million people (1.9 in Bucharest). The 3rd District is the most populous in Bucharest and the one with the highest concentration of companies.

Bucharest, the capital, surrounded by Ilfov County, two parts of the region that are very different from one another. The local municipalities of Bucharest are formed by 6 City Halls for every district (sector) of Bucharest and the General City Hall of Bucharest. So, the executive government is represented by seven mayors, six of the districts of Bucharest and one mayor general of Bucharest.
