Bucharest

It is a young part of Bucharest as its average age is about 40 years, while the active part of the population represents 73% of the total. The 22 parks and the total of 90 ha of green space promote the district as one of the most pleasant areas of Bucharest.  The industrial activity and the general economic environment is quite developed due to the existing institutional structure, to the high qualified work-force and to the well developed communications system.

Energy Efficiency Commission is functioning at the municipality level but the only projects developed are related to improving energy efficiency buildings. For coherent actions there are necessary the development of a energy efficiency strategy.
