Edited on
21 March 2022For their small-scale action, our project partner Trikala in Greece, set up a breastfeeding and baby care area-station in the municipal cultural centre in central Trikala.
The space was created in the context of a general plan for gender equality and a gender-friendly city, in order to facilitate and create conditions for equal access, mobility and use of the public space in the center of the city for parents and baby caregivers.
Mayor Dimitris Papastergiou visited and made the official opening of the baby care area on 29th October 2021 with the deputy mayor of Social Welfare Georgia Kotroni – Balodimou and the Gendered Landscape Team for Trikala, Vera Ntakou and Eleftheria Tziouvara.
