The LUMASEC book on “Sustainable Land Use Management in Europe” was presented on 8/11/2010 in Brussels in a public panel discussion with several representatives of European institutions.
The participants (Jean-Loup Drubigny, Head of URBACT Secretariat; Corinne Hermann, Urban Development –Territorial Cohesion, European Commission – DG Regio; Angelika Poth-Mögele, Director of Policy, CEMR Council of European Municipalities and Regions; Jean-François Guet, Directeur de l‘urbanisme et de l ́habitat CERTU; Manfred Schrenk, Vice-President ISOCARP and Didier Vancutsem, Lead Expert LUMASEC) discussed about the main subject on the book which was moderated by Dirk Engelke, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Lead Partner LUMASEC.
To achieve a wide spared dissemination this event was done in cooperation with the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) to celebrate the World Town Planning Day 2010.
