Become a partner in the LC-FACIL Working Group!

On September 28th the URBACT II Working group LC-FACIL has been approved to enter its implementation phase. A recommendation of the URBACT Monitoring Committee was to accomplish the partnership from now 7 (Leipzig as Lead partner (GER), Rennes Métropole (FR), Kirklees Metropolitain Council (UK), Székesfehérvár (HU), Göteborg (SE), Vitoria-Gasteiz (ES), Bytom (PL)) to 8 partners.

For this reason the Working Group searches for a city that : 

• is located in a Convergence Region and in the South/South East of Europe (apart from Spain)
• has a size of around 100.000 to 500.000 inhabitants
• has experiences with (or is currently working on) issues according to the principles of the Leipzig Charter, in particular with strategy building/ implementation:
  · of an integrated approach at city-wide or at district-level or of sustainable urban development
  · system of monitoring/set of indicators linked to issues of the Leipzig Charta or sustainable urban development
• is able (have the resources) and willing (can prove commitment) to enter quickly and actively in the partnership, as the new partner would have to catch up the work already carried out by other partners and get quickly involved in the ongoing process.
